MEDIA ADVISORY
Members of the media are advised that President Jacob Zuma will on 16 June 2009 deliver a keynote address at the National Youth Day Commemoration under the theme, Celebrating a Vibrant Youth Voice.
As the country commemorates the 33 rd anniversary of the 1976 uprisings, we will also be ushering in a new era in youth development with the launch of the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), a South African youth development agency resulting from the merger of the National Youth Commission and Umsobomvu Youth Fund. The NYDA is aimed at creating and promoting coordination in youth development matters.
