Gauteng Experience set to be a part of the Soccerex Brasilia Forum in 2009 The Gauteng 's Soccerex Experience will continue well beyond the borders of the province and country, with the provincial government having entered into an agreement with the event rights holders, to be a part of the Soccerex Brasilia forum in Brazil from March 17-18 next year. The Soccerex Brasilia forum will be presented by Brazil 's leading tourism and services company, Grupo Aguia, with over 1000 delegates set to attend the celebrity networking function on the opening day with a conference and exhibition set to be held the following day. In announcing the new relationship with the Soccerex Brasilia forum on the closing day of the Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG)-hosted Soccerex at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg today, Ms Barbara Creecy, Gauteng MEC: Sports, Arts, Recreation & Culture said: "With Gauteng set to host Soccerex for the third consecutive year in 2009, as well as being one of the host provinces for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup and the FIFA 2010 World Cup, it makes sense for GPG to be involved with a forum of this magnitude." "Apart from the Gauteng province standing firm behind it's slogan of being the Home of Competitive Sport and the Home of Champions, the Soccerex Brasilia forum is another opportunity to showcase our wonderful provincial treasures of the economic and tourism industries to the world," said Ms Creecy. "We look forward to carrying our warm hospitality with us from Gauteng all the way across the ocean to Brazil , who will work closely with this South American country, which will follow SA in being host of the FIFA World Cup in 2014. We believe that many new business relationships will be formed through GPG's association with the Soccerex Brasilia forum."
