Gauteng government hosts the 2010 Gateway Family Fun Day
Gauteng Provincial government will on Sunday, December 13, host the 2010 Gateway Family Fun Day event at Hyundai park in Klipspruit, Soweto. The event aims to mobilize the people of Gauteng to play an active role as hosts of the World Cup and get the people excited about the upcoming football festival. The Premier accompanied by MECs is expected to speak.
The People of Gauteng have a critical role to play in ensuring the success of the of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The Province is the "Greatest Theatre, the centre stage and pulse of the 2010 Festival of Football" hosting the opening and closing ceremony. Activities on the day will include indigenous Games , Gymnastrada, Golden games (for the aged) , Netball, Volleyball, 5 Aside Football Fun , football , Tug of War (rope pulling) , Kiddies Corner - Face painters, clowns, jumping castles and diski dance and many more !!!
Deborah Fraiser and Arthur Mafokate (and his 999 artists) will entertain the crowds
